Founded by Kristy,

Kristy has lived and breathed hair in the heart of Canberra for more than 20 years. Working in award-winning salons as well as much-loved suburban salons has shaped Kristy into the stylist she is today, someone who believes individuality should always come first.

​

For Kristy, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to hair. She loves celebrating what makes each person unique and creating hair that feels like you.

​

She wanted to bring something a little different to Weston  a salon built on warmth, kindness, good laughs and a genuine sense of community. A space that feels warm, humble, welcoming and a little bit like home.

​

Alita was created to be more than just a salon. It’s a relaxed place to enjoy your time, have a chat and leave feeling amazing. Inspired by the meaning of “Alita , strong woman,” we celebrate every woman, every style and everything that makes you, you.

For us, it’s not just about your hair. It’s about feeling comfortable, having a laugh, being looked after and celebrating your individuality.
